This quaint cottage was once a historical one room school house; today it is the perfect place for your mountain getaway. Built in 1914, the newly renovated Turner School Cottage is located one mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and close to many local attractions; golf courses, Mabry Mill, Blue Ridge Music Center, The Crooked Road, antiques and specialty shops, hiking and biking trails, fine dining and wineries, Galax Olde Time Fiddler’s Convention, Hillsville Labor Day and Memorial Day Flea Markets, as well as the historic Mt. Airy, NC, better known as Mayberry.
Turner School Cottage amenities include; original claw foot bathtub, electric fireplace, rear deck w/gas grill, DVD/VCR/stereo, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, flatware, iron/ironing board, Egyptian cotton linens, cookware and utensils.
